Effortless Dependable Operation
A center-mounted hydraulic cylinder on rear door is a definite plus for effortless operation. The simple but “sure-lock” design offers years of dependable service. Expanded metal on the front and rear allows the operator to see behind the tractor during transport for safer operation. The expanded metal also prevents “blow back” while dumping.
Producers typically own a module builder for ten years or more. You expect and deserve convenience and resale value for your money. No other module builder provides you with this strength or features 10 gauge construction.
A 96″ stroke tamper cylinder provides compaction of the cotton from the start to enhance the quality of the module. The arched foot piece assists in rounding the top to conform to the desired shape, resulting in modules which tarp well and shed water. ALL WELDED CONSTRUCTION CARRIES A THREE YEAR WARRANTY!

Customers Choice, Dual Wheels or Singles
Our dual eight hole wheels with 5,000 lb. rated spindles are combined with a walking beam providing smooth transport in the field or on the road. Safe and reliable. Also, the side construction is braced in a fashion that prevents bowing of the box.
Single truck tire combines adequate load carrying capability with high speed transportation. Single 8,000 hub and spindle with high capacity truck tires.
The CRUSTBUSTER / SPEED KING Module Builder is the only builder on the market using heavy 10 gauge sheet metal construction. See how this compares to the competition’s 12 or 14 gauge construction. Strength and durability are just part of reason that CrustBuster / Speed King beats the competition.

- 88″ Maximum tamper travel.
The FASTEST, SMOOTHEST, MOST QUIET bridge on the market.
- Uses #80 chain.
- Uses nylatron slide material to provide smooth and quiet operation of bridge.
- Easy take-up on chain. Incorporates short lengths of chain for easy removal after take-up is used. No chain cutting required.
- Uses 5″ urethane guide roller with sealed bearing providing long wear and requires no lubrication.
- Uses two 32 cubic inch hydraulic motors mounted directly to 10″ drive wheels. Motor male output shaft splined mated to splined female input shaft.
- 10″ drive wheel uses 1″ of urethane bonded to hub. This combination provides long wearing material which gives excellent traction for bridge.
- Both sides of 10″ drive/bridge carrier wheel supported by 2″ bearings.
- Inside guide uses nylatron slides to give quick, smooth response.
- Outside guide rollers provide straight driving of bridge. No bridge racking or walking when traveling down builder.
- Posi-track hydraulic design.
TAMPER
- Caged tamper cylinder guide.
- Uses heavy-duty 6 x 6 upright guide tubing.
- 96″ Stroke tamping cylinder.
- Arched footpiece for rounded top on module.
- Cylinder lock is visible user friendly and no hydraulics.
- Heavy-duty pads provided on top and bottom strokes of tamping cylinder.
Reduced labor cost – Optional remote control packs more cotton per module – Highly reliable
Features:
- The operator’s console is mounted in front of the hydraulic levers, controlling bridge and tamper travel, for easy access.
- Fully adjustable bridge distance travel and tamper retract distance. Utilizing the key pad on the console, the operator can set the bridge travel distance and the tamper height clearances to maximize operating speed and module compaction.
- Fully programmable. Operator can choose the factory programmed setting or develop a program matched to specific needs and conditions.
- Minimum sensors. The system operates with three sensors, two proximity switches and one transducer.
- Integrated control valve. All electronic automation is integrated into the hydraulic valve body.
- Diagnostic panel. Should problems be experienced, visual diagnostics may be done from the control panel lights to quickly and accurately determine the problem.
- Optional remote control.
Manual Tamping or Automatic Tamping
Speed can only come from a collection of high capacity hydraulic components. Our customers tell us others just can’t keep up. Fast and tough is the Speed King builder. Efficiency and economy are accomplished by running the tractor at a slow 1300 RPM saving fuel and money.
Chain Drive Bridge
- Uses #80 chain.
- Uses nylatron slide material to provide smooth and quiet operation of bridge.
- Easy take-up on chain. Incorporates short length of chain for easy removal after take-up is used. No chain cutting required.
- Uses 5″ urethane guide roller with sealed bearing providing long wear and requires no lubrication.
- Outside bridge hold-downs use angle iron laminated with a nylatron slide for smooth, quiet operations. No steel against steel.
- Rubber blocks cushion tamper foot piece when bridge is fully raised.

- Hold-down trolley wheels are spring tensioned to help guide the bridge and provide traction for drive wheels. Much like a train on a railroad track.
- Inside bridge hold-downs are laminated with nylatron slides for smooth, quiet operation. If bridge tries to cock sideways, nylatron guides against inside of bearings. No gouging of steel against steel.
- Posti-track hydraulic design. Both motors must turn together as the same speed regardless of uneven loading. One wheel cannot slip and spin independent of the other.

“My crew and I like the Speed King better. My next Module Builder will be a Speed King.”
Builds Heavy Dense Modules… Plus More!
“I purchased a Speed King 132 Stripper, Chain Drive Bridge, Auto Tamp Module Builder in 2003. The bridge travel is much improved on my Speed King. The Speed King bridge pushes much more cotton than the KBH and greatly reduces the time necessary for leveling the cotton. Time required to top off a module is kept to a minimum. At the end of a day, the Speed King will build 2 to 3 more modules than the KBH. All because you can push and rake more cotton.”
Packing
“Modules built using my Speed King builder are firmer and more dense than the KBH modules. After finishing a field and pulling the Builder to a new location, I can come back days later and by pushing in the sides of the modules identify the modules built with my speed King. The sides are much firmer and the modules hold more cotton.”
Automatic Operation
“I like the Speed King computer controls better than the KBH. With the Speed King I have more precise control over the bridge travel and the tamper retract. If I set the bridge to over 18″ or whatever. It moves exactly 18″. I think the precise control I have with the Speed King is the reason I get more dense and tighter packed module. Also it speeds up the operation because there is no wasted motion.”
88″ of tamper travel provides compaction of the cotton from the start. The arched footpiece rounds the top of the module.
Easy to climb sloping ladders for safety and convenience.
Hydraulic rear gate latch is standard equipment on all speed King builders/ Gates opens from operator platform.
Single 8,000# hub and spindle with high capacity new 11-22.5 steel belted truck tires.
